E12 初探

目前新版的 Exchange Server (代號 E12) 即將釋出 Beta 2，正式推出的日期仍訂在 2007 年初期，不知道未來是否會將其正明為 Exchange 2007 呢?
E12 朝著三個方向發展 :

1. Control - 高可用度與低成本的 64 bit 部屬與管理方式
2. Anywhere Access - 提供資訊工作人員更高的生產力
3. Built-In Protection - 確保潔淨的通訊流動

E12 在 Beta 1 時所訂的硬體需求為 :

• 中央處理器 :
  32-bit Intel Pentium or compatible 800 megahertz (MHz) or faster
  64-bit Intel Xeon Pentium 4
  64-bit AMD Opteron
• 記憶體 :
  512 megabytes (MB) is the recommended minimum.
• 硬碟空間 :
  At least 1 gigabyte (GB) of available space on the drive on which you are installing
  Exchange Server "12" and 200 MB of available space on the system drive.
